Located on the Lake in the DeKoven Center’s East Building, Racine. Spectrum Gallery invites everyone to wear a heart and get a free piece of art (one per person and while supplies last!) at the opening on Saturday, February 11 from 12:00 noon – 5:00 PM. If you have no heart, the Spectrum Gallery Heart Police will be on hand to enforce the Law of (he)Art and give you one! Spectrum Gallery’s “valentine to Racine” also includes the “Love Show”, an exhibit of artwork expressing diverse ideas about love. Many of these works will also be for sale and the exhibit runs through March 18. The cooperative gallery empowers artists to choose their own work for exhibition and is open to all fine artists who may join at any time throughout the year. Spectrum Gallery is open on Saturdays and Sundays, 12:00 – 5:00 PM or by appointment: (262) 634-4345. January 7, 8 12:00 - 5:00 PM - Drop off for "Spectrum's Fine Arts Invitational." All fine artists are invited to display 1 piece of artwork ready for hanging or display. $20 hanging fee. (call Spectrum at 262-634-4345 for more information.)
February 11 - 12:00 - 5:00 PM "Wear-A-Heart-Get-Some-Art !!" A Racine Favorite ! Wear a heart to the Gallery and get a free piece of art created by our artists. No heart? Don't worry - our Heart Police will give one to you ! This is our Valentine to Racine !
February 11 - March 17 - It's the "Love Show" - Spectrum Artists show diverse interpretations of the many facets of Love !! -(Find something for your sweetie !)
